  • What is Perry's Music Company's return policy?
    Buy with confidence from Perry's Music. We have a 10 day (from date of delivery) return policy for most items. If you are not completely satisfied with any* item purchased from Perry's Music, return it to us within 10 days of the shipping date, and we will refund your money. That's always been our policy. Call us at 1 (409) 344-9940 for a return authorization number and shipping instructions. When proper procedures are followed, there are no restocking fees. All packages must have a Return Authorization #. Provided the item shows no sign of wear or abuse, we will refund your money. If you want to make an exchange, we'll even pay the shipping and handling to send the merchandise to you (Excludes international shipments). *Exceptions to Our Return Policy Products that match the following categories can only be returned for replacement if they are defective or damaged in transit, or only for exchange or refund if they are still factory sealed. Defective items must have a case number from the manufacturer before we can take them back. -Copyrighted materials cannot be returned once opened due to copyright law. This includes books, videotapes, DVDs, sample libraries, style disks, sound expansion boards, and software (which may also include software bundled with hardware). -Blank media cannot be returned once opened due to possible usage. This includes cassettes, open reel tape, ADAT, DAT, CD, DVD, MiniDisc, removable memory cards, and hard drives. -Disposable products cannot be returned once opened. This includes cleaning supplies, care products, and rosin. -Personal use items that are used in the mouth or in the ear cannot be returned once opened. This includes all guitar talk boxes, ear buds, ear plugs, in-ear earphones, microphones, harmonicas, etc. -All parts cannot be returned once opened due to possible usage. This includes all guitar, amplifier, and turntable parts. -Certain items must be exchanged directly through the manufacturer if they are found to be defective. This includes tubes, strings, pickups, replacement speakers, raw speakers, drum heads, drumsticks, cymbals, cowbells, and harmonicas. These items can only be returned to us if they are unopened. -Due to sterilization and repackaging costs, all band instruments will incur an automatic $25.00 restocking fee when returned. This includes flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, and trombones. -Gift certificates cannot be returned. -Digidesign products that include ProTools software cannot be returned once the manufacturer's seal has been broken. If a product is found to be defective, you must contact Digidesign customer support at 650-731-6100 to obtain a case number. If Digidesign determines that the product is defective, contact our returns department. -Recorders (digital, analog or otherwise) returned for refund are checked for running time (drum time) upon return. Those found to have excessive time and or head wear consistent with heavy product recording will be charged a minimum of 15% as a restocking fee or the item will be refused at our option. -All returns must be factory fresh and in a re-sellable condition, otherwise you will be subject to a restocking fee. All original packing and paperwork including warranty card and owners manual must be included (where applicable). -A side note to those of you who have a habit of returning items time and time again - Please keep in mind that under certain conditions, some customers may only be able to return for exchange.   • How are shipping charges handled?
    If you are returning a product for an exchange, Perry's Music will pay the shipping charges on the exchange order. If you are returning a product for a refund, Perry's Music will pay the return shipping and will refund the full purchase price excluding any shipping charges incurred with the initial shipment. If the return is needed as a result of damage, defect, or our mistake, Perry's Music will pay the shipping charges - both to have your item send back to Perry's Music, and to send you a replacement item.

  • How are restocking fees handled?
    We rarely charge restocking fees. We can only accept items that are returned without signs of wear and tear and with all of the original contents and packaging. "Wear and tear" refers to any damage that was not present when the merchandise was received - rack mounting damage, scratches, dents, etc. "Contents" consist of any included parts and accessories, as well as the warranty card and manual, void of notes or markings. Packaging includes all inner and outer packaging, complete with the original barcode affixed. Items not returned in the condition described here may be subject to restocking fees (minimum 15% of the purchase price, as determined by our cost of replacing the missing items including a processing fee for this labor-intensive process) or refusal of the return. Larger items and items that we ship directly from our vendors can be subject to a minimum 30% restocking fee. This fee may apply if you refuse delivery or as a result of delivery exceptions, as well as from a typical return. These conditions apply to all returns regardless of the reason for the return. A restocking fee will be charged for any defective item that is returned in damaged condition.

  • How long does it take to receive a refumd?
    Once our warehouse receives the returned merchandise, a refund is typically processed within 1 to 2 business days (Monday through Friday). Processing time may vary depending on daily return volume. Processing time may exceed 3 business days during times of the year when we are exceptionally busy (i.e. December/January)

  • Where will Perry's Music ship products to?
    Perry's Music Company will ship products to the lower 48 contiguous United States.  This includes our most popular brands, including (but not limited to) Fender Musical Instruments, Peavey Electronics, Roland Corporation U.S., and Yamaha Musical Instruments.  We will not ship these items outside of the continental United States  and will only ship verifyable orders.

  • Free Shipping Guidelines
    Free shipping is for "Standard Ground" delivery only.  Very large and oversized packages such as PA, guitar cabinets, and drum sets which are required to ship via freight may require additional shipping charges.  Free shipping is valid ONLY on shipments to the lower 48 US states.  Lighter weight items may be shipped via USPS and may not contain a tracking number.  Verified credit card orders shipped via Standard Shipping typically arrive in just 3-5 business days.  No standard delivery on weekends.  Additional fees required for Saturday, expedited, and air shipping.

  • What is Perry's Music's lowest price guarantee and how does it work?
    Buy with confidence. If you find a lower advertised price from any authorized U.S. Dealer, stop by, call or email us. We'll match any verifiable advertised price before or after the sale. If you've already purchased from us and find a lower advertised price within 30 days of your purchase, contact us us via phone, email, or in person and we'll refund the difference after verification.

    Here are the rules:

    • Make sure the options are the same! Is our price including case and theirs doesn't? Do they charge you for shipping?

    • Perry's Music will not price match against your friends, classified ads, or auctions.  Perry's Music's price match guarantee is only to match the price on new items offered by authorized U.S. Dealers in accordance with their dealer agreements. Discontinued items, demos, items out of the box, even from authorized dealers, do not count. They cost less for a reason! But, if you find a great deal somewhere else, we'll try and match it.

    • Perry's Music doesn't price match dealers outside the U.S.

    • Perry's Music cannot match a price from a dealer who does not have the product in stock, available, and ready to ship to you. Unfortunately, sometimes unscrupulous retailers may advertise a hot product at an unrealistic price without having the product in stock. You could place the order and wait weeks to receive it and end up canceling the order. If you want to wait till the retailer has the product in stock and submit a Price Match - Guarantee at that time, we'll do our best to match it.

    • Perry's Music will not offer price protection against other dealers who have advertised "loss leaders." Some retailers will try to attract you to buy a product by selling certain products below a reasonable price. Based on our information on dealer cost, if another vendor is advertising an item at a price below which we think they can profitably offer all their items, Perry's Music cannot offer price protection. If you find a retailer who will sell you a product for less than what they paid for it, you should buy it, but they might not be around for long!

    • Perry's Music will not take part in bidding wars with other dealers for the opportunity to sell you a "package" of products. We price match, but we don't haggle. We're in the business of selling quality musical instruments and accessories at the lowest prices possible. Period.

    • In-Store Price Matching applies only to items which have a tag marked "Guaranteed Lowest Price" and does not apply to any applicable sales tax (Texas residences and in-store purchases only).

    • This excludes blowouts, discontinued merchandise, factory seconds, Apple products, Bose products, Korg products, Vox products, Rivera products, special sales, floor and demo models. Price must be printed in a local or national ad by an authorized dealer. Product must be new and factory packaged.
